Often used in sports, the ‘It’ Factor refers to the seemingly intangible qualities of an individual that causes them to stand out, especially in areas of leadership. People frequently associate leadership in terms of position or title. In this session, we will analyze the 4 Key aspects of the ‘It Factor" and attendees will learn how to harness the power of mindsets to develop more agile leaders and a more agile organization regardless of their current position.
Accessing the Meeting
Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email. A few days to the event, you shall receive two reminder emails with each one containing a URL to participate. The subject for those emails will read: Reminder for Event April Monthly Chapter Meeting, please look out for it as the meeting link will be in large blue font.
Once you receive the link, please click on it to ensure that it is working. Afterwards, save the meeting link in a folder for easy access on the day of the event. For viewers using government laptops, please verify that you will have access (just click on the link).
If your organization will not allow you access to the event, consider doing so from a private computer or your cell phone. To do so, simply download the Microsoft Teams application to that device. Be sure your email address is up to date.
At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
(1) classify and analyze the critical leadership aspects that define the "it" factor of project managers and scrum masters
(2) create a comprehensive development plan, based on self-assessment and peer review, that inspires them to implement the "it" factor.
