Project management is a very demanding profession with some generally agreed upon measures of success. Do your measures of success include factors outside of the project key performance indexes? About the Speaker
Dr. Rudy J. Watson currently serves as a Professor and Program Chair at University of Maryland Global Campus (formerly UMUC). He has held various academic and administrative roles in his ten-year academic career which followed over thirty-three years with IBM as a system engineer, manager, and executive project manager. He currently serves on the Academic Advisory Board of the University of Management and Technology, Rosslyn, VA and is the Phi Kappa Phi UMGC Chapter President.
Former leadership positions include Vice President, Montgomery County Friends of the Library, Executive Committee Member of the Board of Advisory Visitors, Mary Baldwin College, and numerous leadership roles in religious and private organizations.
Dr. Watson’s associations and memberships include the Academy of Management, Project Management Institute, and Phi Kappa Phi. From The George Washington University, his Ph.D. is in Logistics, Technology, and Project Management.
